The bottom says "Your skin is amazing. Soft and flexible, yet a barrier against injury and disease..."
This ad initially made me cringe but I also thought it was unique the way they conveyed the message with actual legs being interwoven forming a barrier against...whatever. They are saying this is what their lotion does for the person, protects. And the legs are all different shades so they are advertising to different kinds of people.
This is a "Vaseline" ad.
Its really interesting looking. At first when I saw it, I thought it was a basket with normal bands used to weave them. I had to take a closer look and noticed that it was legs. I can understand the protection idea since baskets are usually very very strong. Also the bands are different colors of material as well.
ReplyDeleteI also think this is a great advertisement. it is simple and very literal which makes the product seem honest. Sometimes ads become too complex leaving you at the end going, what was that a commercial for? This is a ad that will pop up in a consumers mind the next time they're in the store trying to make a quick decision on a lotion.
